The YT Decoy Core 1 MX utilizes an aluminum frameset featuring a 165 mm rear travel Virtual 4-Link suspension system via a RockShox Deluxe Select shock. This chassis incorporates a 170 mm travel RockShox Domain RC fork and functions with a mixed wheel configuration including a 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear SunRingle Duroc SD37 rim. The platform employs SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes with 200 mm Centerline rotors to regulate velocity. Its construction features a tapered head tube, internal cable routing, and a YT Postman dropper seatpost to facilitate structural durability and handling balance.

This system generates 85 Nm of torque via a Shimano Steps EP6 drive unit and consists of an integrated 500 Wh or 540 Wh internal battery. The drivetrain transfers power through a 12-speed Shimano Deore M6100 derailleur and 160 mm Shimano EM600 cranks. A Shimano EN600-L display connects the electrical components, while the system regulates assistance modes via the handlebar mounted controller. The battery sits within the downtube and connects to a Shimano charger, allowing for energy replenishment to support the motor during steep climbing and high-intensity gravity-oriented off-road trail riding.
