The Tern GSD S00 utilizes a 7005 aluminum frameset featuring a custom Suntour suspension fork and the same heavy-duty MultiTruss architecture as the R14. This chassis incorporates 20-inch Atlas wheels and functions with a 200 kg total load capacity, designed for carrying two children or a week’s worth of groceries. The platform employs Magura MT5 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors to regulate velocity. Its construction features an upright geometry, integrated wheel guards, and an Atlas Lockstand to facilitate stable loading and unloading in urban environments.

This system generates 85 Nm of torque via a Bosch Cargo Line drive unit and consists of a 500 Wh Bosch PowerPack battery. The drivetrain transfers power through an Enviolo Heavy Duty stepless internal gear hub and a Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt. A Bosch Purion display connects the electrical components, while the Enviolo twist shifter regulates the 380% continuously variable gear range. The battery sits securely on the mid-frame and connects to a 4A charger, offering a smooth, shift-shock-free experience for family-oriented utility transport.
