The Transition Relay utilizes a Carbon (or Alloy) frameset featuring 160 mm or 170 mm of travel and a “modular” philosophy. This chassis incorporates 29-inch wheels (with mixed-wheel “mullet” compatibility) and functions as a light-assist mountain bike that can be ridden with or without its battery. The platform employs SRAM Code R (or Maven) hydraulic disc brakes to regulate control on aggressive descents. Its construction features a tool-free battery door and an accessory mount to facilitate a “bio-bike” feel and aesthetic in a powered package.

This system generates 60 Nm of torque via a Fazua Ride 60 motor and consists of a removable 430 Wh Fazua Energy battery. The drivetrain transfers power through a 12-speed SRAM mechanical or AXS electronic system depending on the build kit. A minimalist Top Tube LED Hub connects the electrical components, while the Fazua Ring Controller regulates three distinct power modes (Breeze, River, Rocket). The battery sits in the down tube and must be removed for charging, keeping the total bike weight as low as 19.2 kg.
