Specialized Turbo Kenevo Comp 500Wh 2024 E-Bike
The Specialized Turbo Kenevo Comp utilizes an M5 premium aluminum frameset featuring 180 mm of travel through an asymmetrical sidearm suspension design. This chassis incorporates 27.5-inch Roval Alloy DH wheels with Butcher Grid Gravity tires and functions with a slack, gravity-focused geometry. The platform employs Shimano SLX M7120 four-piston hydraulic brakes with 203 mm rotors to regulate speed on technical descents. Its construction features a FOX 38 Rhythm fork with a Grip damper and a FOX DHX Performance coil shock to facilitate maximum traction on rough terrain.
This system generates 90 Nm of torque via a Specialized 2.2 custom Rx Trail Tuned motor and consists of an integrated 500 Wh M2-series battery with a rock guard. The drivetrain transfers power through an 11-speed Shimano Deore XT Linkglide system and a Praxis forged alloy crankset. A Specialized TCU (Turbo Control Unit) connects the electrical components, while the system regulates power to amplify rider input by up to 410% through a double freewheel design. The battery sits within the down tube and connects to a custom 4A charger via a Rosenberger plug for efficient energy replenishment.
